JNTUH, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad is a state university of Telangana. The foundations for JNTU started in 1965 as “Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College”. In the year 1972 with the advent of “The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Act, 1972” JNT University was formed instituting the college of Engineering in Kakinada and Anantapur. In 2008 the university was divided into 4 universities with JNTU ACT 2008. JNTU has its campus in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. JNTUH is accredited by NACC with A grade. JNTUH jurisdiction is restricted to Telangana state only which comprises the areas of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medak, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Karimnagar, and Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda and Mahboobnagar districts of Telangana.

JNTUH has 8 constituent colleges:

  1. JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad (CEH).
  2. JNTU College of Engineering, Karimnagar.
  3. JNTU College of Engineering, Manthani.
  4. JNTU College of Engineering, Sulthanpur.
  5. JNTU School of Information Technology (SIT).
  6. JNTU Institute of Science and Technology (IST).
  7. JNTU School of Management Studies (SMS).
  8. JNTU Academic Staff College (ASC).


Admission to JNTUH and its 415 constituent and affiliated colleges in B.Tech, B.Pharma, Pharma.D, M.B.A, M.C.A, M.Tech and Ph.D. will be based on the common entrance exams like GATE, EMACET, PGCET, ECET etc..,. Exams are conducted all through the year for different levels of courses, usually exams are held at the end of every semester and also supplementary exams are conducted for the candidates who fail to complete the semester subjects. The results are released after the exams within 3 or 4 weeks. Directorate of Evaluation overlooks the assessment process and the distribution of complete data with respect to assessment of internals, semester wise and yearly examinations that are directed for the students.

The results for course – year of study – regulation – semester – exam date has been released candidates can check below for result by entering their result. Candidates can apply for revaluation, recounting and Challenge revaluation (INR. 10,000/-).
